Dear Reader,

Six luminaries were presented with the following awards.

Honoris Causa Awardees: Vinod Gupta, Swami Atmapriyananda, Dr. Randeep Guleria, and Dr. E. Sreedharan

Life Fellow Awardees: Ranbir (Ron) Singh Gupta, Swami Vidyanathananda/Mahan Mj

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

All awards will be conferred at the 66th Convocation of the Institute on February 23, 2021. The ceremony will be live telecasted globally.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

The IITKGP Foundation US would like to recognize the contributions of Vinod Gupta (IITKGP Foundation US Founder) and Ron Gupta (President of the IITKGP Foundation) to the Foundation.  Both have advanced our organization in innumerable ways--giving their time and talent to making the Foundation a huge success. With the onset of 2021, IIT Kharagpur is all set to welcome luminaries with exemplary contributions to the Institute and society. Vinod Gupta will receive the DSc Honoris Causa and Ron Gupta the Life Fellow award.
