TOP NEWS: IIT Kharagpur's COVIRAP Granted US Patent

In September 2022, the novel diagnostic technology for pathogenic infectious diseases developed by IIT Kharagpur researchers has been granted a US patent. The IITKGP Foundation USA and IIT Madras alumnus Anand Rajaraman helped fund the US patent process.

MOU to Promote Drilling Technology R&D

IIT Kharagpur and the Institute of Drilling Technology (IDT), ONGC signed an umbrella MoU in September 2022. The MoU shall serve as a baseline to undertake several collaborative R&D projects between the institutions.

Kgpian Startup TrueFoundry Raises $2.3M for ML Deployments

Nikunj Bajaj, Abhishek Choudhary, and Anuraag Gutgutia founded TrueFoundrya custom platform that automates repetitive tasks in the machine learning pipeline, in September 2021. Within a year they have raised $2.3 million to broaden TrueFoundery's platform and hire more individuals.
