Kgpian-led Startup Bags Funding for Restaurant Digitization Operations

Explorex, a restaurant-focused full stack SaaS startup, co-founded by Kgpians Mainak Sarkar and Pritam Khan has received $ 5 million as seed funding for their growth roadmap.  The Y Combinator-backed startup, founded in 2020, will deploy the funding to expand its presence in Mumbai and New Delhi and product development.

Award-Winning Dairy Farm by Former US-based Kgpian

In 2013 Indukuri started Sid’s Farm, a dairy farm in Hyderabad, that delivers unadulterated milk to customers on a subscription basis. Recently Sid’ Farm has been awarded ‘Best Agri Start-up’ of Telangana. 

IITKGP Foundation USA Fellow Suchismita Nayak at ASU

Suchismita Nayak, a research scholar at the Department of Architecture & Regional Planning, was recently awarded a fellowship by the IIT KGP Foundation USA. The two-month Fall fellowship supported her internship at the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University.

Young Innovators' Program - How It Came to Be...

It all started in 2015. We were a bunch of passionate students of the newly formed “Branding and Relations Cell (BARC)”. One fine night in about August 2016, we came up with a mission to enable our younger friends in high schools with a knack and love for science, technology, or innovation to truly experience the spirit and essence of IIT Kharagpur.

Do You Have a Painting or Sketch of IITKGP?

Prof. P P Chakrabarti, Kgpian, Professor, and Former Director, IIT Kharagpur is creating a collection of hand-made paintings, sketches/drawings, and models (not photos), of IIT Kharagpur buildings and campus. PPC is requesting the artwork to be submitted here along with available details of location, who has drawn it, when, etc. Please do not share photographs.
