IITKGP Alum PK (Pabitra) Chakrabarti Admitted to Practice in SCOTUS

Dr. Pabitra Chakrabarti, a patent attorney in Washington DC, has recently admitted to practicing in the Supreme Court of the United States. During his decade-long association with GE in India and the US, PK specialized in Intellectual Property Rights and worked as a Patent Attorney.

Million Dollar Babies


Crorepati salaries at IITs make headlines every year. But this time IIT KGP is in the news for other million-dollar babies — technology innovations. COVIRAP, the novel diagnostic kit has been licensed for ₹ 6.7 crores. Several other innovative technologies also earned over ₹ 1 crore each confirmed by Director V K Tewari at the 68th Convocation on December 24.

Partha Sinha Awarded the 'Distinguished Alumnus Award' at IIT Kharagpur
 

Partha Sinha, president at the Times of India group and the president of the Ad Club was conferred IIT Kharagpur’s Distinguished Alumnus Award during the 68th convocation. Partha Sinha has a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. Before joining Times of India, Partha has worked with Citibank, Ogilvy, Zee, Publicis, and McCann.
