IITKGP Foundation (USA) President Asoke Deysarkar Visits IITKGP

IITKGP Foundation (USA) President Asoke Deysarkar had engaging and productive conversations about a variety of topics with Director Tewari, administrators, faculty, staff, and students during the visit to IIT Kharagpur.

IIT KGP Foundation USA Grants and Scholarships — Making a Gift, Making a Difference

In 2022, the IIT KGP Foundation USA awarded scholarships to thirteen students to pursue research and industrial projects. The scope of the scholarships had a worldwide scope with students including USA, France, Germany, UK, Singapore, Israel, Switzerland. The scholarship valued at $4000 facilitated the students to intern with some of the top global institutions around the world.

Sajol Ghosal Wins 2022 Life Science Pitch Competition by PitchForce

KGPian Sajol Ghosal (1980/EE), Chief Executive Officer at Advanced TeleSensors, Inc., was  honored with the 1st place award at the Dec 15 Life Science pitch competition, hosted by PitchForce. Advanced TeleSensors, led by Ghoshal, developed ​​Cardi/o®, a totally-touchless, non-wearable heart and respiratory rate sensing medical device.
