Kiranjit Siyan, a KGPian (1976/ECE/NH), NIH scientist, passes away

Kiranjit Siyan received his Bachelors of Technology with Honors in Electronics and Electrical Communications from IIT-Kharagpur in 1976. He went on to receive his Masters of Technology in Computer Science from IIT-Madras in 1978 receiving the President of India Gold Medal for first rank in his class.
My husband died on 22nd April 2020 of heart failure at home while teleworking due to COVID-19. He was working as a staff scientist at NIH, Bethesda, MD. He was the sole bread earner of our family of three--he, I, and our school going son.
After his demise, responsibility to provide for my child has solely fallen upon me. I have been a housewife after getting married and coming to the US. We have no family support available to us. I do not have any job and therefore no income of my own and badly in need of help.
