Nehru Hall Ka Tempo Kicks-Off Major Modernization Project on March 29th

Nehru Hall will be holding a kick-off event on March 29, 2022, to usher in the beginning of their major modernization project. This project will provide amenities appropriate for the IITians of 2020's but still retain the charm and characteristics of the 1950's, when the Hall welcomed its first Nehruites.
'Nehru Hall of Residence was opened almost 70 years ago with the motto 'sa vidya ya vimuktaye,' meaning knowledge that leads to liberation of the thought. Since then, the population has increased to almost 500 without any significant improvement in the infrastructure. This project will modernize each and every room, expand the common room, modernize the dining hall and the kitchen; and provide modern amenities necessary for a college of this National stature,' says Ron (Ranbir) Gupta. Ron is one of several Nehruite alumni who are leading this modernization effort.
