Dear Reader,

As an IITKGP alumni your support of campus initiatives can accelerate the transformation of the campus and sustain it as a world-class institution while providing a great learning environment for the next generation of students. IIT Kharagpur’s vision is to be ranked in the top 50 institutions in the world by the end of this decade. This will attract the best students from around India and also top faculty to campus at all levels of education. 

To accomplish this vision, we need your support. Many of you have already donated funds to support initiatives that you are passionate about. 

We invite you to consider supporting the many initiatives underway. 

YOU can provide a modern room to a future student  because the rooms have not been updated since they were first built. Or, you can provide funds to give scholarships to economically disadvantaged students admitted to IITKGP, fellowships to graduate students to be free to do cutting-edge research, and support for summer international research internships.

Would you be willing to help by giving a donation? Every penny will help a future IITian live in better conditions and experience a world-class institutional environment. Your gift will instantly be put to work because many initiatives are ongoing.

Ways to Support

You can support an initiative of your choice or just donate to the general fund.

1. Donate online: YOU can make a donation now through our secure payment gateway, Stripe. 
2. Mail a Check: You can mail a check to our US address: IITKGP Foundation, PO Box 27183, Omaha, NE 68127. Add, Attention: Meenakshi Khazanchi, Executive Director. Please tell us if you are donating to a special campaign.
3. Transfer or Wire Funds: If you would like to discuss the possibility of a bank transfer (ACH) or wire transfer, please contact us and we can help you through the process.
4. Donate shares of your own: Thinking about donating your shares or insurance to the IITKGP Foundation? Please contact us and we can help you through the process.
5. Employer matching: Thinking about a Qualified Charitable Donation (QCD) through your employer? We can help you through the process. Many companies already participate: Microsoft, Intel Foundation, Honeywell, Oracle, and much more. 
6. Volunteer your time: You can volunteer with the IITKGPF (USA) by engaging or leading initiatives. These activities could also include organizing social, cultural, and/or professional events for other alums in your areas with our local chapters around the world.
