IITKGP Founders/VC Mixer held in San Francisco is a Massive Success

An IITKGP Founders/VC Mixer held on June 21st, 2024 in San Francisco was a massive success. Hosted by Atal Agarwal on behalf of the IITKGP Foundation (USA), more than 100 IITKGP alumni showed up at the event with the food and venue sponsored by Z21 Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank. The highlight of the event was a fireside chat with three IITKGP founders: Anshu Sharma (Skyflow), Abhinav Shashank (Innovaccer & Z21 ventures), and Raj Shekhar Singh (Z21 ventures). The evening also included time for networking and a IITKGP Founders Spotlight.

IITKGP announces curriculum reforms: double majors, 5-year dual degree courses for UG students

In line with the National Educational Policy (NEP 2020), undergraduate students taking admission in 2024-25 at IITKGP will have the option of earning simultaneously a “double major” along with the BTech (Hons) or BS (Hons) degree in the departments in which they take admission. Several departments will offer the 'Double Major' program in any discipline after the first year. The new programs will also include five-year dual degree programs, elimination of branch change, and semester away programs. All UG programs at IITKGP starting from the year 2024-25 will be for five-year. The students will be able to opt for the five-year dual degree programs after the second or third year of their study.
