Description: Technology Students' Gymkhana, IIT Kharagpur has launched the first edition of a newly made magazine "ILLUMINATION 2019-2020". This is the first-ever publication of IIT Kharagpur's ILLUMINATION.
Illumination is now such an indispensable part of IIT Kharagpur's heritage. It was 1981 when IIT Kharagpur decided to celebrate Diwali in their own unique way, and Illumination is a culmination of that. Thousands of glittering diyas stand out in the darkness and form scenes from Indian epics, issues of national and contemporary importance, artistic renditions of deities and monuments. The ILLUMINATION magazine is rich documentation of this unique culture that we share in IIT Kharagpur, distinguishing us from all other IIT's.
In view of the global pandemic, printing the magazine is improbable. So Technology Students' Gymkhana is presenting this magazine digitally. We hope it will bring much happiness, positivity and warmth to everyone around reminiscing the beautiful days of ILLUMINATION as well as this tradition will inspire other IIT's and Institutes to look up this beauty all in a frame.
