rise-high-public-schoolRise High Public School-a Novel Educational Initiative by three IIT KGPians

Information provided by Anshuman Singh ('99)

Three KGPians, Anshuman Singh ('99), Vikash Sharma ('99) and Rupesh Kumar ('99), founded Rise High Public School (RHPS) in 2013. The school is based at Aurangabad (a rural town 200km south-west of Patna) in Bihar.  The three KGPians founded the NGO Bal Mangal Education Trust (BMET) with the plan to build more schools like RHPS in underprivileged regions of India that have limited access to affordable, high-quality education. The school is CBSE-affiliated and imparts the Learning-by-Doing teaching method to avoid rote learning and to keep the students' interest and curiosity alive. Make sure to check out the below links for more information about Rise High and ways you can support the school.
