IIT Kharagpur Alumni Foundation India driving a campaign to 'Donate Beds for IIT Kharagpur Hospital'

Join IIT KGP Alumni Foundation (India), the apex body of IIT alumni in India in helping build IIT KGP hospital's infrastructure.
We had earlier aimed to modestly fill a few wards of the hospital. But as of today, we have already collected that amount, and we are now aiming to fulfill the hospital's complete requirement.
The response has truly been heartening and these beds will be a boon for the IIT Hospital complex.
The update so far:
--1st lot of beds will arrive early August 2021
--2nd lot of beds now under order by the Foundation
--Sites reviewed by head of the Donation Campaign Team
We are now looking to fill more empty wards with beds, ready to use. We have visited and interacted with Dr. Shannigrahi of the hospital, as well as the officials concerned and the Director. We plan to raise funds for the following:
UPDATED PROJECT:
Fund 32 ICU beds and 160 General ward beds.
ESTIMATED COST:
Rs. 20,000/- per General Ward bed set (approx. $270)
Rs. 1,60,000/- per ward of 8 beds (approx. $2148)
All 32 ICU beds have been completely funded
Target Achieved: Rs. 25,00,000/-
Updated Target: Rs. 50,00,000/-
