Prof. Debdeep Mukhopadhyay awarded Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award in Engineering Sciences

Prof. Debdeep Mukhopadhyay from IIT-Kharagpur's Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been awarded the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize, India's highest science award. Prof. Mukhopadhyay received the award under the engineering sciences category for his pioneering contributions in the area of Cryptography, Information Security, System Security, CAD for VLSI & Embedded Systems, and Cyber Physical Systems Security for the year 2021. At IIT-KGP, he initiated the Secured Embedded Architecture Laboratory (SEAL), with a focus on embedded security and side-channel attacks. Congratulations to Prof. Mukhopadhyay on this pretigious award!
