Any IIT KGP student across all departments, schools, centers and academies (including doctoral candidates) in groups of 3-5 are eligible to participate. The ARGKIA selection committee will select 5 projects which will be eligible to receive funding for developing the project. The 5 shortlisted teams will then have to appear before the committee to demonstrate their project in the Spring semester. The committee will announce the 1st and 2nd placed teams amongst the 5 developed products which will come with a cash prize and displayed on the Alumni website.

Mukul added, "During my education and career, my professors and mentors always encouraged me to think outside of the box and run with my ideas even when the chances of success were slim. With the establishment of this award, I hope to foster a culture of creativity and innovation for all students at IIT-Kharagpur." Thank you to Mukul for setting up this award!
