Gangwal and Godala Create an Eco-Friendly Food Delivery System

IITKGP Foundation

Do you wonder what to do with your non-recyclable takeaway food delivery boxes? Kgpians Shashwat Gangwal and Keshav Godala are answering your call for an eco-friendly food delivery system. The duo started InfinityBox, a reusable packaging platform offering an alternative to plastic containers.

Gangwal and Godala, both Economics graduates from IIT Kharagpur, have been passionate about solving the issue of disposable plastic. While they were students at IIT Kharagpur, their business plan was selected for seed funding of $100,000 by the Hult Prize Foundation.

InfinityBox provides reusable Tupperware quality containers to partner restaurants of food delivery services that customers can opt for at no extra cost. InfinityBox later collects the boxes directly from the customers for reuse. The company operates in Bengaluru and Mumbai at present.

Recently the duo raised $800,000 in funding from WEH Ventures with participation from Nithin Kamath’s Rainmatter, Kolte Patil Family office, Ankit Kedia of Capital A, and Gaurav Thakkar of Rockstud Capital, amongst others. The funding will be used to expand the operations and invest in onboarding restaurants and corporations.
