As we bid farewell to another remarkable year, we can't help but reflect on the incredible journey we've shared at IIT Kharagpur. Your alma mater is buzzing with excitement, and we wanted to take a moment to extend our warmest wishes for a joyous and prosperous New Year!
Your unwavering dedication as alumni has played a pivotal role in positively influencing the lives of numerous students and faculty members at IIT Kharagpur. In the year 2023, we proudly welcomed nearly 450 new alumni into our ever-growing network, which now boasts a total of 12,248 members.
The impact of your generous contributions this year has been far-reaching, enabling a multitude of enhancements at IIT Kharagpur. These include the modernization of Nehru Hall rooms, upgrades to the SN-IG dining hall and kitchen, the provision of over 35 scholarships for summer international internships and need-based scholarships, the establishment of endowed chaired professorships and postgraduate fellowships, support for a leadership academy, and additional backing for the academy of classical and folk arts.
