Jugal Anchalia (B.Tech/EE/2013), a Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia honoree in 2018, has consistently lived by the mantra, “Begin with the end in mind.” Recognized for his contributions to healthcare innovation, Jugal co-founded JustDoc, a startup that was later acquired by Netmeds.com. JustDoc was created to address the gap in technology usage within healthcare, allowing patients to consult online with highly qualified doctors through its website and app. Dubbed the “Skype for patients,” JustDoc facilitated online consultations, making expert medical advice more accessible.

Currently, Jugal is focused on scaling his latest venture, Cobalt, which he co-founded and leads as CEO. Launched in 2022, Cobalt is a development tool platform for software companies. Reflecting on his entrepreneurial journey, Jugal shares on his LinkedIn page that it has been filled with challenges, lessons, and successes. “From engineering at IITKGP to founding JustDoc to starting Cobalt, I’ve loved every bit of it,” he states.

Jugal has created a video detailing his entrepreneurial experiences, hoping to inspire others on similar paths. He reminds everyone that with hard work, determination, and a bit of luck, anything is possible.
