Krishna C. Mukherjee ('85) is an inventor and a technology pioneer. He is a Microsoft veteran who was involved in the creation and development of world-famous products such as Windows and Office. Mukherjee has made highly significant contributions in the areas of enterprise architecture, artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing. He created the Software as a Service (SaaS) model that revolutionized software development and distribution.
Mukherjee earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Kharagpur and his Master's degee in Computer Science and Engineering from the IIT at Kanpur.
