Smart India Hackathon 2019 Hardware Edition Concludes at IIT-Kharagpur

From life-saver to asset-tracker to theft-preventer, Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2019 Hardware edition to IIT Kharagpur witnessed prototype sensor development for a wide array of industrial challenges. 93 green horns from seven states participated in this week-long national competition where they were posed challenges by Ministry of Coal and Garden Reach Shipbuilding Yard to develop industry-scale hardware solutions ranging from Smart Communication to Smart Vehicles, from Security and Surveillance to Miscellaneous technological ideas related to tertiary sectors.
This is the first time that public and private sector companies have become part of Smart India Hackathon in its 3 years of existence, including 40 industries and 9 Central Govt. ministries and departments. (Read More)
