Founded in 2001, Reston-based Electrosoft Services Inc. has grown its revenue from just over $6 million in 2016 to more than $12.5 million last year, while growing its staff from a team of 50 in 2016 to 95 this year. With a focus on cybersecurity, software and IT, the company's client base includes the U.S. Army and Navy, and it also serves commercial clients. It is led by President and CEO Sarbari Gupta ('86).

What's your leadership style?

Hands-on, proactive and involved. I'm always happy to roll up my sleeves and tackle any task that needs to be done. I'm very involved in day-to-day operations, focusing on quality and customer satisfaction. I also hold a 30-minute orientation session with every new employee, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to establish a connection with each of them early on and conveying the firm's core values and valued behaviors.
