International job offers for the Class of 2020 during final placements have jumped upwards by as much as 400%

New Delhi/Kolkata: Indian Institutes of Technology are seeing a spurt in the hiring of engineers for global positions, as companies such as Microsoft, Uber, BNY Mellon, Accenture Japan, Deskera and Honeywell, to name a few, quickly snap up students in the current placement season.

International job offers for the Class of 2020 during final placements have jumped upwards of 60% at IIT Madras and IIT-Hyderabad, while the IITs at Kanpur, Kharagpur, BHU and Guwahati have seen a surge of 100-400%. The 2020 batch is being offered more positions in locations such as the United States, Singapore and Japan, compared to the 2019 batch. (Read More)
