The IITKGP Foundation President, Mr. Ron Gupta ('70) had the honor of meeting Indian Ambassador Shringal and Minister Anurag Kumar at the US Senate Office Building this past week. Although the meeting was informal, discussions in the future about the role of IIT's in US-India relations are in the planning stages.

The golden boy of IIT Kharagpur, Vinod Gupta, the US-based entrepreneur and philanthropist, is back and this time to honour his famous faculty.

Mr. Patil pulled out his cycle and called out to his three-year-old son. "Suhas! Let's go!" he said as he picked up the toddler and thrust his small legs through the metal seat strapped to the front of his cycle.
