IIT-Kharagpur awarded Institution of Eminence (IoE) status by HRD Ministry

IIT-Kharagpur has been awarded the status of "Institution of Eminence" (IoE) by the HRD Ministry. Congratulations to KGP on earning this honor!

IIT-KGP is in the process of building a 3-story Food Court at the Alumni Circle, where the 1970 ADDA and Alumni Clock Tower are located. This will make a popular hang-out spot for students, faculty, and staff. The cost is projected to be Rs. 6.56 crore (approximately $1 million USD). We will share more information about this project as it becomes available.

The HRD Ministry on Thursday awarded Institution of Eminence (IoE) status to five public institutes which includes our very own IIT-Kharagpur.
