Dear Reader,

Vinod Gupta ('67) will be donating a famous painting by Henrik (us) van de Sande Bakhuyzen (Bakhuijzen or Bakhuyzen) to IIT-Kharagpur. Bakhuyzen (1795-1860) was a leader of the Dutch landscape painters in the first half of the 19th century and focused on animals and landscape art. "Untitled Cows in a Meadow" will make a beautiful addition to the IIT-Kharagpur board room. Below is a photo of the painting.
