Dear Reader,

IIT Kharagpur in collaboration with the IIT KGP Foundation USA  organized the 7th Covid relief distribution camp for community workers from 14th-16th September 2021. Around 2000 workers including domestic helps, rickshaw pullers, small vendors, and other essential service providers each received 21kg of essential commodities and ration. Despite the incessant rains and waterlogging in and around the campus over the past few days, large numbers of workers came to receive aid.  The institute announced that it will continue to organizing the relief initiative in the future to support the community workers who are an integral part of the daily functioning of the campus.
