Dear Reader,

**The above photo is from the front of the "A C Pandya Students' Activity Centre" (GupShup Pavillion).**

Rakesh Gupta ('86) has donated $100,000 towards the "A C Pandya Students' Activity Centre" in the Department of Agricultural & Food Engineering at IIT-Kharagpur. The Centre will allow a spot for students to hang out and relax between classes.

Rakesh commented on the establishment of the center:

"GupShup Pavillion (A C Pandya Students' Activity Centre) is a perfect place to make lifelong friendships, dream aloud, and create business plans to change the world. As always Vin (Gupta) who has been my boss, friend, and mentor has come up with a great idea of a Student Activity Center. I am glad I could make a small contribution. Every department should have one!"

If you or a group are interested in building a centre in your department, please send an email to info@iitkgpfoundation.org for more information.

You can learn more about this project along with viewing additional photos from the concept presentation and drawings in the below newsletter article.

We are still raising additional funds for the "KGP Alumni Fund for COVID-19" to support continued distribution of rations to KGP community workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. An additional $100,000 is needed and we have raised $30,000 of that amount so far. Please donate today via the below buttons. We need your help!
