Paresh and Shimul Shah establish a Chair Professorship and a Student Award at IIT-KGP

Dear Reader,

Paresh Shah ('91) and his wife Shimul have established a Chair Professorship and a Student Award with the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT-Kharagpur. The Chair Professorship will support state-of-the-art teaching, research, and industrial collaborations, while the Student Award will provide a scholarship to a Fourth Year B.Tech student from the Dept. We thank Paresh and Shimul for their generosity and look forward to the success of these awards!


Due to rising Covid cases, the Annual Alumni Meet, celebrating the IIT-KGP batches of 1981, 1982, 1996, and 1997 has been postponed. The tentative date(s) of reschedule are March 10-13, 2022.
