Subir Chowdhury ('89) bestowed with prestigious SAE Siegel Humanitarian Award

Chowdhury received the award for his pioneering work in the field of Quality Engineering and Management, outstanding works to promote STEM among nation's youth, and global philanthropic works within educational institutions.

IIT Kharagpur girl tops 3rd online round of National Inter-College Crossword Contest

Aaditri Vaibhav, a 2nd year student of IIT Kharagpur, took the first spot and became the national topper at the end of the third online round in Stage I of the National Inter-College Crossword Expedition (NICE) 2022.

Prof. Abhijit Mukherjee named to "75 UNDER 50: Scientists Shaping Today's India" list

Mukherjee has been one of the primary contributing authors of the United Nations World Water Development Report 2022 (WWDR2002) and was awarded the 2020 Bhatnagar Prize.

Director Tewari was a speaker at the recent National Campaign on "Farm Mechanization" event, organized by the ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering.

The webinar, presented by The Boston Pledge and focusing on the book, "India towards 100: A Call for Reset! Need for a missionary Zeal", will feature Dr. Partha Ghosh ('71), Puran Dang ('59), R. Gopalakrishnan ('67), Sam Pitroda, and Suresh Prabhu.

Prof. Amrita Sen, Dept. of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), and Dr. Arjita Banerjee, Dr. B C Roy Multi-speciality Medical Research Center, were both recently awarded for within their respective fields.
