Kgpian Aneesh Jain on Gram Unnati Mission

Kgpian Aneesh Jain is on a mission to reimagine the agricultural value chain of India, bridging major gaps between institutional buyers and marginal farmers. In a recent initiative, Gram Unnati conducted a training program together in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra aimed at increasing awareness about the best pre-and post-sowing practices for mustard for the best yield. The training camp also informed farmers about the latest techniques that would help safeguard their crops from numerous pests and diseases.

Kgpian Asmita Maitra Awarded Royal Society-Newton International Fellowship

Kgpian Asmita Maitra, who recently received her doctoral degree in Geology and Geophysics, has been awarded Post-doctoral Fellowship under the Newton International Fellowship 2022 scheme. The prestigious fellowship operated by the Royal Society (UK) is given annually to 25 students globally for excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Kgpian Ramanarayan Mohanty in Conversation with INDIAai

Kgpian and Artificial Intelligence expert Ramanarayan Mohanty was recently interviewed by INDIAai, a joint initiative of MeitY, NeGD, and NASSCOM. Mohanty talked about his casual interactions at IIT KGP over chai adda that led to his interest in Machine Learning algorithms, “a scorching topic” he calls it. For AI career aspirants he recommends learning AI by practicing.
