Kgpian Atul Singh Tops UPPSC

Time to cheer for Atul Singh, as the Kgpian from Pratapgrah topped the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) merit list. Singh hails from Gosaipur village of Mandhata, Pratapgarh. After graduating from IIT Kharagpur, Singh joined the corporate sector but decided to a career in the public service sector. On behalf of the Kgpian community, we wish him the best in his endeavors.

Kgpian Startup Sigmoid Raises $12 Million

Sigmoid, a data engineering, analytics, and AI solutions startup founded by Kgpians Lokesh Anand (CEO), Mayur Rustagi (CTO), and Rahul Kumar Singh (CAO), has raised $12 million in a Series B investment. The funding is aimed at augmenting market offerings, expanding delivery centers, and catering to new industries. 

Madhu Panchmia Sengupta - The End of an Era

Madhu was mischievous and did not hesitate to participate in pranks. With her direct and practical nature, she was a trailblazer, the first woman chemical engineering student at IIT, and part of the 12th batch of entering students in an institution now getting ready to celebrate its 75th anniversary.  Madhu’s passing is the end of an era. It was an era of aspiration, of national heroes, an era that inspired young students. A reminiscence by Kgpian Parvati Dev.

Book Review: A Small Town Boy by Captain NS Mohan Ram

Veteran Kgpian Captain NS Mohan Ram, VSM, Indian Navy (retd), brings you the life of a young man in the 40s & 50s in a newly independent India in “A Small Town Boy”. Being from the third batch, Capt. Mohan Ram was among those IITians whose brilliance helped build the IIT Kharagpur brand. He penned in his patented self-deprecating and humorous manner the idyllic world of Mohan Ram's youth.
